Our section of Manoa Stream is downstream of the bridge and continues about 200 yards downstream. We are also covering both surrounding banks on either side of the stream. This area seems to have a large amount of biodiversity as it covers several different environments which include several different niches.

Day 1 summary
10/4/08
First day going to our location which is Manoa Stream we caught 3 different species of aquatic animal life, 2 species of bugs, observed 3 species of birds, and observed 7 different species of plants and algae. Weather conditions mostly sunny partial showers. Our group made several interesting observations on both plants and animals.
